Chandu Gowda thought he had everything under control when he was taking a shot for a fight sequence on the sets of his film. Little did he know that it would lead to him fracturing his shoulder bone. "It was a fight scene and after being hit with a dummy wooden log, I had to roll over and fall. Since it was the third take, I was pretty confident of nailing the scene this time.
Unfortunately, I landed a bit harder on my left shoulder this time. I think the dummy wooden log also had an impact on my shoulder," he says. Although Chandu continued to shoot for another hour, he soon felt the pain was unbearable for him to continue.
On his visit to the doctor the next morning, he was shocked to hear about the diagnosis. "I thought it would be a muscle tear or tendon injury and not a shoulder bone fracture. Currently, I am on shoulder immobiliser for a month as they cannot put a cast for shoulder injuries," he says. The actor informs that owing to his medical condition, all his shoots have been postponed till late October. "Nearly 70% of the shoot was over for this film, and will resume shooting for this one in October," he adds.
However, the actor had to head to Hyderabad to shoot for his Telugu serial Trinayani. "I am currently in Hyderabad shooting for the serial as they did not have any serials. The makers, however, have tweaked the serial's story keeping my health condition in mind and are taking all precautions to ensure I am safe and comfortalbe on the set," he wraps.
